What Comes With My Rental?
  • Access to the venue between the hours of 1 pm and 11 pm, including set up and clean up.
  • Sydonie Mansion is an outdoor wedding venue. We rent you a magical backdrop for your special event and have carefully partnered with a select list of exclusive service providers for you to choose from to make your special day absolutely magical. Inquire with our venue manager for more details.
  • Food and Alcohol can only be served by one of our licensed caterers. We have a list of preferred caterers who are allowed to cater at Sydonie and provide the best food and service in central Florida to meet any budget.
  • See below for the layout for the areas that are accessible for use. They include the front lawn facing the lake, the magical boathouse near the lake, the large wrap-around covered front porch, covered arcade walkways, and the Spanish courtyard.
  • We have white wedding chairs, 60 inch round tables, 6 ft tables, two 8 ft. and one 4 ft. rectangular tables that can be included in your rental fee. For an additional charge we can rent almost any other item you might need though our preferred vendors.
Do I Need a Tent?
  • Sydonie's front lawn is a beautiful spot for your wedding, with moss-covered oaks and a view of the lake.
  • If you are concerned about rain or intense sun, we can rent you a tent that can cover the concrete area in front of the mansion. Only a tent rented from Sydonie is allowed to be set up at the venue and a decision must be made at least one week prior to your event.
How Much Does It Cost?
  • Sydonie's venue rental prices start at $6800 and are for up to a maximum guest count of 150 guests. This gives you up to 10 hours of access, including set up and takedown. Call to discuss any special requests or considerations.
  • All Weddings at Sydonie Mansion require an event coordinator. We maintain a list of our exclusive wedding planners to select from who are professionally licensed and very experienced in making weddings at Sydonie run smoothly and beautifully. You must use one of our professional event coordinators for at least the day of your event to ensure everything is coordinated and well managed.
What Are The Operating Hours?
  • Access to the premises for set up may begin starting at 1 pm on the day of your event.
  • If you are planning an early wedding before noon, let us know, and we can work with you to accommodate your needs.
  • All music must end by 10 pm. No exceptions
  • All guests must be gone from the property and all clean-up completed by 11 pm. We are closed on Sundays.
Due to the Historical Significance of Sydonie Mansion, are there any Special Restrictions?

Yes, this is one of the reasons we only allow our exclusive list of vendors to provide services are Sydonie and we ask your help in protecting this special landmark by observing the following:

  • No tape, nails, rope, or other material can be used to attach anything to Sydonie's walls or trees without prior discussion with the owners. It is Sydonie Mansion's sole discretion as to what will be allowed.
  • Encourage your guests to wear sensible shoes for comfort and safety in an outdoor setting. No stiletto heels are allowed on the front porch, Bridal Suite, or other wooden floors without heal covers which we will provide.
  • No fireworks, rice, or confetti are allowed. Yes, you may do a sparkler send-off
  • Local zoning does not allow the direct sale of Alcohol. However, you may pre-purchase and have Alcohol served by one of our licensed caterers.
  • All weddings and events are required to purchase a “Day Of”, minimum 1-million-dollar liability insurance policy with added coverage for the serving of Alcohol. There are several companies that provide this type of coverage. Check out this link from Statewide Insurance. The policy is from Travelers, and they cover you for the event day only and are not expensive. They can also provide you with very helpful additional coverage options.
  • We are continuing to restore Sydonie Mansion, so please forgive us if certain sections of the mansion are under repair. They should not impact your event.
Do You Provide Parking?

We have enough space for approximately 53 vehicles and will have someone directing parking for 30 minutes before your event to get the spacing established. We encourage our brides to consider using shuttle buses for your guests for safety and to minimize parking requirements.
